The 31st January has passed and we have now released the remaining pre-booked rooms back to the hotel.  It may be  possible to book a room directly for those who are still undecided but please advise me if you plan to attend the dinner.

At the moment we have 135 members and guest attending which is well below our expectations but we will still have fun!

Only two members have expressed an interest in the golf competition to date but we hope for other entrants between now and the event.

ANNUAL DINNER WEEKEND
18 – 20 March 2022
Roe Park Resort
40 Drumrane Rd, Limavady, BT49 9LB

The 2022 Annual Dinner Weekend will be held in the Roe Park Resort which is situated in Limavady on the Causeway Coast between Londonderry and Portrush – the Commodore and Northern Region Members look forward to welcoming you to Co. Londonderry.

Because of the Hotel restrictions on numbers at an indoor gathering at this time they can only forecast to cater for 200 maximum in the Function Room and we will close the attendance list when we reach this number. We will of course have a waiting list.  Should the rules change we will issue another circular.

We have also decided to have only one formal event on Saturday evening 18th March which will be the New Members’ Reception, commencing at1800 followed by the Annual Dinner.

The hotel will offer dining facilities on Friday evening but members must make their own arrangements with the hotel in this respect.

All accommodation bookings and the Friday evening dinner should be made directly with the hotel by 30th January 2022.  Rooms will not be held after this date and early booking is recommended. The hotel will accept telephone (preferred method) and email bookings.

Due to the reluctance of many to travel in large groups we are not organizing any coach trips as we have in the past.  Attached is a list of activities and facilities available in the area has been put together by our group, but members must make their own travel and booking arrangements.
The only exception will be for the (Beverly Killen) Perpetual Golf Trophy’  As there is no travel or group involvement we will run the Stableford competition commencing at 12 noon on Saturday 19th March.  If you wish to participate, please book your round and buggy, if required, directly with the hotel and advise me.

The booking requirements are set out below. It is essential that your menu choices are indicated on the booking form.  ‘Bank Transfer’ is the only accepted method of payment.  Please ensure that you return the payment summary form to me stating the payment reference –‘RP22/___________(your surname)

Regards
Derek
